Spndly is a personal and business expense tracker for iOS and Android. Photograph a receipt and Spndly reads the vendor, date and amount on your device — no upload, no account, no subscription to a cloud you did not ask for.
What Spndly does
Scan and capture receipts
Use the camera to scan a receipt, or import a photo you already have. Vendor, date and amount are extracted on-device and pre-filled for you to confirm or correct.
True multi-currency
Spndly stores the original currency of each receipt and never silently converts it. Reports break out totals by currency, so a trip with EUR, GBP and USD receipts reports honestly instead of guessing an exchange rate.
Mileage trips
Record business mileage alongside your expenses so a trip and its receipts live in the same report.
Payment cards & categories
Assign expenses to the card you paid with and to your own categories, then filter and total by either.
Reports and export
Produce PDF reports for reimbursement, or export CSV and a QuickBooks-compatible file for your accountant or bookkeeping software.
Backup and restore
Create a .zip backup containing your database and receipt images, save it wherever you like, and restore it onto a new device.
Privacy in one paragraph
Spndly has no servers. It has no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising. Your expenses, notes and receipt images are kept in a SQLCipher-encrypted (AES-256) database in the app's private storage on your phone. Mauvtek LLC never receives, sees, sells or shares any of it.
